Gustavo E. Negrón Mattei is a member of Harper Meyer’s international tax, trust, and estate planning team. His practice focuses on providing tailored and tax efficient strategies to high-net-worth individuals, multi-jurisdictional families, entities and trust/foundation structures.
Gustavo’s experience in international tax and estate planning matters includes structuring U.S. inbound investments, U.S. tax residency issues, offshore streamlined procedures, pre-immigration tax planning for foreigners immigrating into the U.S., U.S. expatriation, compliance with Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act (FIRPTA) issues, and compliance with the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA).
