Jeffrey S. Hagen is Co-Managing Partner at Harper Meyer LLP. He focuses his practice on international tax and succession planning, primarily for high-net-worth individuals, multi-jurisdictional families, entities, and trust structures, providing custom advice narrowly tailored to meet each client’s specific circumstances and goals. 

Mr. Hagen advises on the viability and effectiveness of cross-border transactions, tax residence and domicile matters, corporate structuring and inversions, U.S. income, gift, and estate tax and information reporting requirements, Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act of 1980 (FIRPTA) issues, income and estate tax treaties, and compliance matters relating to Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). 

Mr. Hagen was born and raised in Miami.  He is an active member with both the International Law Section of the Florida Bar, where he serves on the Executive Board, and with Transnational Taxation Network, an organization of global international tax practitioners in over 20 jurisdictions.
