Patricia Hernández-O’Connor is an equity partner at Harper Meyer Perez Hagen Albert Dribin DeLuca & Osorio LLP and focuses her practice in complex commercial litigation and international business law. Her courtroom experience includes representing clients before state, federal and appellate courts across a wide range of contractual and business tort claims. She has also represented clients before domestic and international arbitration tribunals, among them the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes of the World Bank, the International Chamber of Commerce, the American Arbitration Association, and the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo. Ms. Hernández-O’Connor’s litigation experience also includes litigation of intellectual property rights, including trademark litigation and domain name disputes. Prior to joining Harper Meyer Perez Hagen Albert Dribin DeLuca & Osorio LLP, Ms. Hernández-O’Connor was a founding partner of O’Connor Law Group, LLP.
Ms. Hernández-O’Connor also assists international clients, predominately from Latin America, in a wide range of business transactions, including the formation of business entities, asset protection strategies and contract negotiations.
Ms. Hernández-O’Connor is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. She also holds a degree in International Business from George Mason University. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the International Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
Ms. Hernández-O’Connor is a native of Guatemala and has traveled extensively through Latin America and Europe. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
