Harper Meyer proudly congratulates Burt Landy on celebrating his 95th birthday and publishing his memoir “My Lucky Life.”

Throughout his remarkable journey, which began in 1955 in Miami, Burt played a fundamental role in establishing and shaping the landscape of international arbitration and guiding the way of growth that the city would experience in banking, law, and business, and which eventually would steer it into being recognized as the financial capital of Latin America. His unwavering dedication, resilient spirit, wisdom, and profound contributions to the legal field have created a legacy that will continue to be a pillar of Miami’s success and beyond for generations to come.

In light of this momentous occasion, last August 15, Harper Meyer was honored to host a special celebration surrounded by colleagues and friends who gathered to pay tribute to an extraordinary life. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as everyone reminisced about the many achievements and impactful moments that Burt has experienced and which he now shares through his memoir, available for all to read (copies are free to MIAS members).

Harper Meyer is grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Burt and his achievements. It is an honor to know him, and the firm looks forward to continuing to build together to ensure that his vision and values continue to resonate with the legal community and inspire the future generations of our profession.
