On November 13th, Harper Meyer Partners Jeff Hagen and Laura Reich, on behalf of The Florida Bar International Law Section (ILS), traveled to Gainesville, Florida, to speak with University of Florida Levin College of Law students.
The event provided students with unique opportunities to gain insights into the dynamic field of international law and learn about the different opportunities that become available by joining the ILS. Being a member of the ILS grants access to extensive resources, such as opportunities for professional collaborations and the exchange of “best practices,” which can improve the administration and implementation of statutes, rules, and regulations in international law. Additionally, the ILS hosts networking events and offers career development opportunities to improve members’ skills and proficiency.
Jeff and Laura, currently serving as part of the ILS’s leadership as Vice-Treasurer and Secretary, respectively, concluded their visit encouraging students to remain curious, proactive, and engaged with the global legal community.
