Katie DeLuca concentrates her practice on international and domestic transactional matters with a focus on transactions involving capital equipment, including aircraft and vessels. A substantial portion of her practice is devoted to business aircraft and she has assisted clients with all aspects, both routine and complex, of their transactions including planning and structuring aircraft ownership and operations, minimizing exposure to sales, use and/or VAT taxes and ensuring compliance with all applicable FAA, DOT and other governmental rules and regulations. She has had the opportunity to represent domestic and offshore entities, financial institutions and high net worth individuals in connection with the acquisition, sale, structuring, financing and leasing of aircraft, engines and aircraft parts.
Ms. DeLuca is active in several organizations including the National Business Aviation Association, the National Aircraft Finance Association and the Florida Yacht Broker’s Association. She received her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association and the Italian American Bar Association. She speaks Portuguese and is conversant in Spanish and Italian.
