Harper Meyer is very proud to have founding partner James Meyer represent the firm as a Member of the Host Committee of the International Bar Association’s Annual Conference in Miami. The firm is also serving as a Supporting Sponsor of the Opening Reception. The event will take place on October 31st, 2022, at the New World Center in Miami Beach.

This year’s broadly anticipated IBA Annual Conference is set to become the world’s largest event of its type, with over 5,000 attendees from 2,700 law firms, corporations, governments, and regulators from around the world. Widely recognized as the leading event of the international legal community, it will offer participants an unrivaled chance to share expertise and build a worldwide network through more than 200 working sessions that will allow participants to concentrate on their own areas of interest, from substantive committee sessions that cover the majority of industries and practice areas to more specialized subjects.

The IBA is the world’s largest bar association, with over 80,000 members from most of the world’s leading law firms spanning more than 170 countries. The IBA was founded in 1947, soon after the United Nations was established, and works to promote world peace and stability via the administration of justice. The IBA covers all legal practice areas and professional interests through its two divisions: the Legal Practice Division and the Public and Professional Interest Division. The association also facilitates communication among its members on international business law practice-related laws, practices, and professional obligations through the different committees of the divisions.

This year’s conference, set to take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from October 30th to November 4th, 2022, is likely to be the most attended event in the history of the IBA.

Harper Meyer looks forward to this memorable week.
