On February 17, 2023, Harper Meyer’s attorneys were proud to participate in the International Law Section (ILS) of The Florida Bar’s flagship conference, the iLaw 2023! Held at the JW Mariott Marquis in downtown Miami, the conference brought together legal professionals from top national and international law firms to discuss and share the latest legal trends, regulatory changes, and other topics related to international law, as well as networking opportunities. This year’s conference offered opening and closing plenary sessions, a keynote session by Kenneth R. Feinberg on tailoring the law to meet challenges brought on by unique catastrophes, and three parallel tracks to choose from focusing on International Litigation, International Business Transactions, and International Arbitration, sponsored by the AAA/ICDR.
Current and Former ILS Chairs, partners Jacqueline Villalba and Jim Meyer, greeted and welcomed attendees to this year’s conference. Partners Jeff Hagen, Clarissa Rodriguez, and Laura Reich also took part in the conference as panelists and organizers.
The iLaw 2023 conference was a great success, and Harper Meyer is proud of its long-time support and sponsorship of the work of the ILS.
