Harper Meyer Partner Clarissa Rodriguez was a guest speaker for the iLaw 2023 “NFTs Aren’t Going Anywhere, and Neither are the Lawsuits” panel. The session focused on the legal and regulatory considerations in the fast-paced and evolving NFT market. NFTs have brought a whole new range of implications, which businesses, agencies, and individuals need to understand before engaging in transactions involving digital assets. The panelists had the opportunity to discuss some of the most critical considerations of digital asset ownership in various areas, from copyright law and intellectual property rights to criminal action that may arise from the destruction of artistic culture.

Clarissa spoke on the panel alongside Kimberly Babin, Art Legal of Chicago, David O’ Steen of Bryan Cave LLP, and James Sammataro of Pryor Cashman LLP. Christopher Noel of Sequor Law served as moderator.
