Since 1993, Michael has been recognized by his peers on The Best Lawyers in America and as a “Florida Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine since 2009.
A frequent lecturer in the areas of probate, trust and guardianship laws, and related areas of litigation and estate planning, Michael has been a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel since 1990 (member, Fiduciary Litigation Committee) and the Past Chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Michael is also an Adjunct Professor in the University of Miami Masters in Estate Planning program and the Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Miami, as well as a Dean of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel.
