In the face of an unprecedented economic crisis, numerous Venezuelans sought refuge in the United States to safeguard their financial assets. Among them were many who placed their trust in Miami-based investment advisor Andrew H. Jacobus. However, this trust was seemingly misplaced. Several of these affluent investors have now taken legal action against Jacobus and his firm, alleging fraud and civil theft of amounts running into the tens of millions of dollars.
